View Sales Totals for a Specific Date Range

Use the Invoice Log to filter invoices by any date range and display only the records needed. Select a preset range or enter custom dates, apply additional filters as required, then preview and print or export the results as a tabular report or individual invoices.

 From the main toolbar, select Invoice Log Invoices, then choose Invoice Log (or from the Business Tools menu, select Invoice Log).

  1. From the View View Options drop-down, select Import Import.
  2. Select Invoice Summary by Type, then click OK.
  3. From the Filter sidebar, under the Date Range field, select one of the quick date options or choose Custom to enter a custom date.
  4. If desired, you can drill down the list further by using any of the other available sidebar filters, such as Invoice TypeDiscount Type, Name, or Has Non-recovered Tax.
  5. To print individual invoices, first select the checkbox (or checkbox column header to select all); otherwise, to print as a tabular report, click Send To Print, then choose View.
  6. From the Preview toolbar, click Print to print (or Export to export as a pdf).
  7. When finished, to remove any filters set, click Clear Filters.

Additional Information:

  • You only need to import the view once. To access the view in the future, select it from the drop-down, or if no longer needed, click View View Options, then select Delete.
  • To add additional fields to the view, select Column Chooser Column Chooser. Drag and drop desired fields onto the current view.
  • To hide any columns, right-click on the column header and select Hide This Column. To reset back to the default, from the View View Options drop-down, select Reset Reset.
  • To sort by a specific column, click on the column header to be sorted by.
  • To filter by a specific column, hover over the column header. Click on filter and choose your filter criteria. To clear any filters set, click Clear Filter Clear Filters.
  • To import a view, from the View View Options drop-down, select Import Import. Alternatively, to delete the view shown, select Delete Delete instead.
