The Summary of Expenses by Category report provides a category‑level overview of all expense entries for a selected date range. It includes each expense category along with its description and total amount, and can be printed or exported. For an itemized breakdown, the Detailed Expense Listing report can be used instead.
From the main toolbar, select
Expenses (or from the Business Tools menu, select Expenses).
- From the toolbar, click the print button
, then select Summary by Category from the drop-down options listed. - From the Date Range dialog, enter a date range or click Quick Dates and select from the options listed, then click OK.
- From the preview window, click
to print (or
to export as a pdf).
