The Usage by Month view shows a month‑by‑month breakdown of products sold within a selected date range, helping evaluate sales trends and inventory needs. Ideal quantities may be adjusted directly in the Ideal field to set preferred on‑hand amounts, and filters such as category, group, product line, and section can refine the list before printing or exporting the report.
From the main toolbar, select 
Inventory (or from the Product menu, select Product List).
- From the drop-down, select Usage by Month.
- Using the Filter sidebar, set the desired Date Range (choose from one of the quick date options, or choose Custom to enter a custom date. The default range is the current year-to-date.).
- From the toolbar, click
Print, then from the preview window, click 
to print (or 
to export as a pdf).
Tip: For further refinement, select any additional filter options before printing (Category, Group, Product Line, Section, and whether or not to include Closeout Items, Out of Stock, or Archived Product).
