The Standard and Birthday discount types can be renamed in Preferences. The Birthday Discount will also automatically apply the set birthday percentage during the customer’s birthday month (unless otherwise specified in their contact profile settings).
To access the discount types, from the Edit menu, select Preferences, then select the Invoice tab.
Discount Types:
Standard
- Select from one of the options listed in the Standard drop-down from the Discounts section or click ... to create a new type.
- After selecting the desired discount, click OK to save and close Preferences.
Birthday
- From the Discounts section, select Apply Discount During Birthday Month to enable and enter the percentage to be applied in the field.
- Select from one of the options listed in the Birthday drop-down or click ... to create a new type.
- After selecting the desired discount, click OK to save and close Preferences.
