Create Custom Documents & Images

Promote your business by customizing various documents and images with your own text, visuals, and QR Codes. Once complete, save your creations in several file formats. For PDFs, choose between an editable version for future modifications or a flattened version that can be sent to your customers. The flattened PDF or image formats are perfect for emailing gift certificates and sending fliers about an upcoming sale, product launch, or special event!

Tips:

• Before beginning, download the product images you want to include from the company website to your computer (we suggest saving them to your Pictures folder in Windows).
• Create a QR Code to keep handy in your Pictures folder and add it to a document you plan to print for a quick and easy way for your customers to contact you.
• When saving, choose JPG or PNG from the Save as type drop-down to embed your customized document in the body of an email.
• After saving an editable copy of the PDF, save an additional non-editable version that can be sent to customers by selecting the Flatten PDF option.

After importing a document, the hand cursor   will appear when hovering over any field that can be edited, and most will also have an aqua background color (some images that can be replaced will not have an aqua background color).

1. From the main toolbar, select  Documents (or from the Business Tools menu, select  Marketing > Document Builder).
2. From the Document Builder toolbar, select an option from the Type drop-down, then select an option from the Category drop-down.
3. In the Sample Preview section, a sample image will be displayed for the document selected in the Documents section. 
4. After selecting a document to customize, from the Documents section, click Import from the Document Builder toolbar.
5. Click inside an editable field from the imported document to change or remove the text displayed (to make text smaller, press your Enter key). You can also left-click on images or image placeholders to replace them with one of your own or right-click for additional options, such as Import to select an image from the new Image Gallery.
6. When finished, to print, click Print.
7. To save, click Save.
8. Enter a name in the File name field.
9. Choose a PDF or image file format from the Save as type drop-down. Options include PDF files (editable), Flatten PDF (non-editable), .JPG (image file), or .PNG (image file).

• To make changes to an editable PDF that you have already saved outside of Boulevard, we recommend using Adobe Reader. To make a flattened copy, choose to print the PDF, then select Microsoft Print to PDF from your list of printers. If the Microsoft Print to PDF is not listed, you can try re-enabling the feature or visit Microsoft's website for more information and additional help.
