Entering Your Business Information in Preferences
In Boulevard's Preferences section, you can tailor settings and options to your needs, connect your payment processing account, and select the information to be shown on customer invoices.
To access, select
Options from the main toolbar, then
Business Info (or from the Edit menu, select Preferences).
Click the links below to view detailed information contained within each tab.
Business Info tab: Once you've completed the Getting Started guide, update the Business Info tab with any additional contact details that will show on your invoices, along with consultant and director information, and tax report settings. This will help ensure your invoices and reports are accurate and tailored to your needs.
Invoice tab: Set dates, print preferences, follow‑up reminders, customer premium prompts, and personalize invoices with images and notes from the Invoice tab.
Seminar Year tab: In the Seminar Year tab, you’ll find each quarter’s start and end dates, which should be updated each year to keep reports current.
Tax tab: The Tax tab is specific to the Canadian version only and enables you to set province‑specific tax rates, business details, and calculation options for supplies and shipping.
Backup tab: Set your backup preferences for reminders, automatic saves, and file locations, and store backups externally — such as on Google Drive — to safeguard them if your computer has issues.
Online Sync tab: Add your account login information to enable product updates, connect your external email for sending through Boulevard, and sync data with the Avenue app.
Payment Processors tab (Previously Plug-ins tab): Connect your ProPay and Stripe accounts to process payments and record the fees in Boulevard. Alternatively, if you use a different payment processor, you can select Other to record the fees associated with processing card payments.
