Tracking Mileage in Expenses

Mileage can be tracked in Boulevard using either the Expenses area or the Trip Log. Mileage entered as an expense uses a dedicated mileage category and is grouped separately in expense reports, while the Trip Log provides a more detailed method for recording destinations, reasons, and vehicle information for each trip.

For more information on how to use the Trip Log method, see Tracking Mileage from the Trip Log.

Create an Auto Mileage expense category

  1. From the expense toolbar, click Settings button then select Categories from the drop-down options listed.
  2. To add the category, from a new row at the bottom of the list, enter the category name such as Auto Mileage in the Name field.
  3. On the same row in the Description field, enter a description such as Auto Mileage, enter miles or km in the Unit field, and Expense in the Type field.
  4. When finished, click OK.

See Add or Delete an Expense Entry to use the Auto Mileage category when entering mileage.
