Boulevard Window Sizes & Layout Options
Boulevard gives you the flexibility to arrange the forms inside of the application with a few different options. Access the layout options from the Window menu (or from the Business group on the main toolbar, click Forms).
See Set Default Profile Tab, Change Font Sizes, & More for further customization and Change the Color & Look of Boulevard.
Important Note: If screens appear too large or are not displaying the entire content, check your Display settings and Scale & Layout in Windows to ensure they are set to the recommended setting.
The Shortcuts form is located on the left edge of the application. Choose to Float, Dock, Auto Hide/Pin, or Close or even Customize Shortcuts as well as view Product Update Newsletters if you are subscribed to the Product Update Service.
If you have chosen the Float option (shown below), you can hover your mouse on the edge of the form to be resized. When the (double-headed arrow) appears, left-click, hold and drag the form to the desired size. View
If you select the Recall Open Forms (or from the Business group on the main toolbar, select Forms, then Recall Open), Boulevard will re-open the same forms previously opened from the last time you exited the program, in the same position and size. View
If any of your forms are hidden or do not appear when you try to open them, we recommend going to the Window menu, unchecking the Recall Open Forms. Go back to the Window menu, choose Arrange, then Tab.
Tab:
When chosen, all forms will open in a tab layout similar to web pages. Forms can only be closed, not minimized, or maximized using this layout.
Tile:
When chosen, all forms will open in a tile layout (except for contact profiles, they will float above the tile layout) using all available space within the application. Forms can be individually resized; however, when a new form is opened, each will automatically resize to fit the available screen. Individual forms can be minimized, maximized, and closed using this layout. View
Float:
When chosen, all forms will float in the open area of the application. Forms can be minimized, maximized, individually resized, and closed using this layout. View
Cascade
When chosen, all forms will cascade using the float mode within the open area of the application. Forms can be minimized, maximized, individually resized, and closed using this layout. View
The Close All function closes all forms that are currently open in the application (except for the Shortcuts and Upcoming Events sidebars if open).
Additional Information:
- Use the Compressed Toolbar options in Application Settings (for Profile and Lists) to make the toolbars smaller and gain additional vertical space.
- All open forms will be listed at the bottom of the Window menu and can be selected to bring them into focus. View
