Your Boulevard software consists of two components, the program itself, and the data inside it (data you enter as well as product list information loaded from product updates).
Data file location
C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\Roaming\Blvd\Blvd.mdb
Backup File Location
Unless you have specified a different location in Preferences, the following areas are where you'll find the backup file when using the automatic backup function upon exiting the software. The default naming convention for Boulevard backups is BLVD BACKUP_YYYY-MM-DD_HHMMSS.ZIP. This compressed zipped file should not be opened outside of Boulevard (only restored from inside the program).
Boulevard 2018 or newer:
C:\Users\Your User Name\Documents\Boulevard
Boulevard 2017 or older:
C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\Roaming\Blvd or Roaming folder
- Preferences: Backup tab
- Restore a Boulevard Backup File
- Backup Your Boulevard Data File
- To find your data or the default location of Boulevard backup files located on your hard drive, you'll want to ensure that you have Show hidden files and folders enabled on your computer.
- We recommend backing up to something remote, or cloud-based. For more information on backing up Boulevard to a remote location, see Remote Back up to the Cloud Automatically.
