Set Default Wholesale Discount for Inventory Costs
Boulevard applies the default discount to your inventory orders and calculates the wholesale amount whenever you edit the physical count directly in the product list, from the product profile, or when splitting sets. You can update the wholesale value (also known as the cost of goods) for your current stock and set a default discount that is automatically applied when you add new inventory through orders or manual adjustments.
From the main toolbar, select
Orders (or from the Product menu, select Inventory Order).
-
From the main Inventory Orders screen, click
Settings. - In the Default Discount field, enter your typical default discount percentage (E.g., 50.00%), then click OK to save and close, or proceed to the next step to update the wholesale value of all items you currently have in stock.
- To update the wholesale value of all items on hand, click Update All. Then, confirm that you want to update all retail section 1 On Hand amounts with the default discount and adjust the current wholesale values by clicking Yes.
-
Click OK to acknowledge that the default discount has been applied, then OK to close the Settings form.
Additional Information:
- If an order has already been placed or received into your inventory with the incorrect discount applied, use the Update All function from above, then adjust the order totals by double-clicking on the order.
- Print Inventory & Inventory Adjustments
