Send a Group Email from the Business Tools menu (Option 2)
A group email can be started from any contact list (Customer, Unit, or Address lists), the List Builder, or from the Business Tools menu. Each message is sent separately to maintain recipient privacy.
Before using the email feature in Boulevard, first add your outgoing email settings in Preferences. See Sending Email through Boulevard for detailed steps. Also, ensure your email signature includes your contact information, including a physical mailing address, to comply with anti-spam laws such as the CAN-SPAM Act (US) and CRTC (Canada) when sending promotional emails.
Options:
From any contact List, List Builder, or Contact Log (recommended): This option works best when you use Boulevard’s integrated email feature and want to include personalized details from each recipient’s contact profile, select specific recipients, and apply filters.
From the Business Tools menu: This method offers two options and is ideal if you want to include recipients from multiple contact lists (Option ) or copy email addresses to paste outside of Boulevard (Option ).
Option A: Launching Integrated Email or Desktop Application
After selecting the options under Which List, Using Email Address, and Filter, select Create Message. Depending on your email option set in Preferences, one of the following functions will occur:
Boulevard's integrated email feature will launch a New Message form, or your desktop email application set in Windows under Default apps will launch (one or more email message forms, depending on the options selected). See Sending Email through Boulevard for more details.
Option B: Copying Email Addresses
Use this option if you do not want to use Boulevard's integrated email feature and would rather paste a group of email addresses into another application.
After selecting the options under Which List, Using Email Address, and Filters, click Copy Addresses. This will copy the selected email addresses to the Windows clipboard. Open a new message in your email provider, and paste it into the TO or BCC field using your keyboard: press Ctrl+V to paste.
From the Business Tools menu, select
Mailings, then Group Email.

Send Using Blind Carbon Copy & In Groups of options:
The following two options are only applicable when using the Create Message button in conjunction with the Desktop Application method that uses your Windows desktop email app. When using the Integrated Email method, messages will always be sent individually.
Send using blind carbon copy: You can protect your customers’ privacy by choosing this option that hides the names and email addresses of other recipients. Keep in mind that some email programs may not fully support BCC, and some internet providers might block messages using it. In that case, we suggest using Boulevard's integrated email feature instead.
Send in groups of: Select this option to divide your recipient list into smaller groups. This option generates multiple email messages, each with the number of recipients specified in the box (for example, if your list has 50 names and you set the group size to 10, Boulevard will send 5 emails, each with 10 names).
