Import a View for Reports, Labels, & More

Views can be imported in Boulevard to display information in customized formats for reporting, labels, email, or general list use. Each list includes predefined views, and additional views can be loaded as needed. Imported views remain available for future use, can be customized further, printed or exported, or deleted when no longer needed.

Send an Email

  1. From the list toolbar, select View View Options, then Import Import.
  2. Choose a view, then click OK.

Import View

Tips:

  • You only need to import the view once. To access the view in the future, select it from the View drop-down next to View Options. Or if no longer needed, from the View Options drop-down, select Delete, then click Yes to confirm. View

Print a Report

Print View

To print the current view displayed as a report, from the toolbar, click Send to Print and select View from the drop-down list. Customize further from the preview window if desired (including the page orientation), then click Print to print (or Export to export as a pdf).

Print Mailing Labels

Print Labels

  1. Click the checkboxes next to the names to be selected (or the checkbox column header to select all).
  2. From the toolbar, click Send to Print and select Mailing Labels or Single Label (if printing from a Dymo printer).
  3. From the Mailing Label Options dialog, select the label from the Label Types list (you can also choose between Primary, Spouse, or Family name from the Use Name drop-down list).
  4. If printing to a partially used sheet of labels, select the number of labels to skip from the top.
  5. Click Font... if you want to change the font used; otherwise, click OK to print.
  6. From the preview window, click Print to print (or Export to export as a pdf or other file format).

Send an Email

Note: Your Outgoing Email Settings must be added under Preferences before proceeding with the instructions below.

Send Email

  1. Click the checkboxes next to the names to be selected (or the checkbox column header to select all).
  2. From the toolbar, click New Email to launch the message.
  3. After composing the email, click Send.

A copy of each email message will be added to your email provider's Sent folder. If using Boulevard's internal email feature, each recipient will have an event logged into their Contact Log that an email message was sent. To view, open their profile and click on the Contact Log tab.
