The Summary of Expenses report shows expenses, income, and other tracked units (such as mileage) for a selected period. Results are grouped by category with totals provided for each. For an itemized view, use the Detailed Expense Listing report, located in Expenses.
Print Options:
From Reports: Located under Reports, together with other reports suggested for tax purposes.
From Expenses: Located under Expenses, along with other report formats such as detailed expenses.
Print from Reports
From the Business Tools menu, select Reports.
- Under the Tax section, select the Summary of Expenses report, then click
Print (or double-click on the report). - Enter the date range to print, then click OK.
- From the preview window, click the print button
to print (or export button
to export as a pdf).
Print from Expenses
From the main toolbar, select
Expenses (or from the Business Tools menu, select Expenses).

Summary of Expenses: This report lists totals for each category that has entries in the specified timeframe, and is the same report found under the Tax section in Reports. 
Detailed Expense Listing: This report lists each detailed entry by category in the specified timeframe. 
Summary of Expenses by Month: This report lists monthly totals for each category that has entries in the specified timeframe.
