Contact Profile: Notes Tab

The Notes tab includes a freeform Notes section for general information and a Reminders section for alerts or critical reminders that display when viewing the profile. Alerts appear quietly, while critical reminders show a pop‑up that must be acknowledged. If the information is tied to a date, the Contact Log is recommended instead, since reports can be run using a date range to view those entries.

When details are date‑specific, a Contact Log entry is recommended instead so it can quickly be viewed from the Contact Log, otherwise use the Notes section for details that are not tied to a date.

Alert reminders are less obtrusive and allow you to continue without acknowledging the reminder. Choose from a few locations to display them, which can be set from the Application Settings menu.

Critical reminders will be displayed in the middle of the application and must be acknowledged to continue. This reminder type is especially useful to flag an account that is a bad debt or if the client has an allergy.

Create a Reminder

  1. On the Notes tab, under the Reminder section, enter your desired text, such as date, invoice number, or contact log entry, as a reference to get more detailed information.
  2. Decide whether you want the reminder to be a default Alert or a Critical reminder. If critical, select the checkbox, Critical, create pop-up.
  3. When finished, click Save button Save.
