Adding reward point values can be beneficial when advertising new product launches (discounts are not required when creating a Sales Event) or even when you're clearing out discontinued products and giving a discount plus bonus reward points!
Step 1: Create the Event
- From the Product menu, select Sales Events (or from Products - Inventory group on the main toolbar, click Sales Events).
- On the Sales Events toolbar, click the .
- Fill in the event Description, Start, and End Dates.
- Under the Defaults section, enter the number of points earned when purchasing the item. View
- Click OK to accept and close the form.
