Edit the Count for an Item on the Product List

The Edit Count function can be used if your on-hand amounts are primarily correct and you need to adjust the wholesale value or quantity of a few individual items. Use the Update Wholesale function if your on-hand amounts are accurate, but the wholesale value is incorrect for many items. See Print Inventory & Make Adjustments if most of your on-hand amounts are inaccurate. 

Important Note:  The wholesale amount is calculated from the Default Discount percent in Inventory Orders Settings. Ensure that your discount is set before following the steps below. View

1. From the main toolbar, select  Inventory (or from the Product menu, select Product List).
2. Using the search field, type a partial product description or part number.
3. After locating the desired product, double-click to open the product profile.
4. From the product profile toolbar, click  Edit Count to open the Physical Count form.
5. Adjust the quantity and, if necessary, the wholesale amount.
6. Click  OK  to save and close the form.

Tips:

• If applicable, track a product's expiration by adding it under the Expires field (See Track Expiration Dates for more information).
• Add or select a Reason for adjustment from the drop-down list.
