The Edit Count feature is used when on‑hand quantities are mostly correct and only a few individual items need their quantity or wholesale value adjusted. The count is edited from the product’s profile, where the Physical Count form allows you to update the item’s on‑hand amount and, if needed, its wholesale value.
Use the Update Wholesale function if your on-hand amounts are accurate, but the wholesale value is incorrect for many items. You can also view the information to Print Inventory & Make Adjustments if most of your on-hand amounts are inaccurate.
Important Note: The wholesale amount is calculated from the Default Discount percent in Inventory Orders Settings. Ensure that your discount is set before following the steps below. View
From the main toolbar, select 
Inventory (or from the Product menu, select Product List).
- Using the search field, type a partial product description or part number.
- After locating the desired product, double-click to open the product profile.
- From the product profile toolbar, click
Edit Count to open the Physical Count form. - Adjust the quantity and, if necessary, the wholesale amount.
- Click
OK to save and close the form.
Tips:
- If applicable, track a product's expiration by adding it under the Expires field (See Track Expiration Dates for more information).
- Add or select a Reason for adjustment from the drop-down list.
