Boulevard 2026 and newer versions do not need the full version of Microsoft Office to be installed on your system to run. If you do have Microsoft Office installed, it must be the 64‑bit version because the 32‑bit version conflicts with Boulevard and will prevent it from opening. If you find a 32‑bit version on your system, uninstall it and choose either a 64‑bit Microsoft Office option or a non‑Microsoft alternative, which works in either bit version.
If you do not have a conflicting Microsoft Office 32-bit version installed, see Boulevard Not Opening from Shortcut. Alternatively, if you are unsure whether you have a conflicting Microsoft Office 32-bit version installed, see Microsoft Office Bit Version Check.
What to Do:
If you have a 32-bit version of Microsoft Office installed, you'll need to uninstall it. Below are some alternatives you can use that will not conflict with Boulevard. If you install a Microsoft Office product, it must be 64-bit. Non‑Microsoft options can be 32‑bit or 64‑bit because they do not interfere with Boulevard’s Access database, which is where all of your information is stored.
If you have any issues opening Boulevard once you have verified that you do not have any 32-bit versions of Microsoft Office installed (or you have uninstalled it), please see Boulevard Not Opening from Shortcut. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please Submit a Request.
